A genuinely special take on one of IWC’s most iconic pilot watches — the limited-edition IWC Pilot’s Watch Mark XVIII “Laureus Sport for Good Foundation” ref. IW324703. Produced in a limited run of just 1,500 pieces worldwide, this particular example is individually numbered 499/1500, giving it an added level of collectibility.
The standout feature is IWC’s signature Laureus blue dial. It’s a deep, rich blue that changes beautifully depending on the lighting, paired with the clean and highly legible layout that makes the Mark XVIII such a great everyday watch. The 41mm stainless-steel case wears incredibly well, while the textile strap keeps the watch casual, comfortable, and true to its aviation-inspired roots.
One of my favorite details is found on the caseback, which features the special engraving associated with IWC’s Laureus editions. Combined with the individually numbered production, distinctive blue dial, and classic Mark XVIII proportions, this is a much more unique piece than the standard-production Mark XVIII and an excellent option for an IWC collector or anyone looking for a pilot watch you simply don’t see every day.
